CDWE concludes Hai Long 2 Offshore Wind Project Foundation & Offshore Substation installation in Taiwan.
We’re proud to share the completion of the first offshore installation campaign for the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project! Leveraging our DP3 heavy lift vessel GreenJade, CDWE has installed all jacket foundations and the offshore substation (OSS) at Hai Long 2 and the foundation of the Hai Long 3 OSS. The Hai Long Offshore Wind Project held a blessing ceremony in April this year, officially announcing the launch of offshore construction.
Working in challenging water depths between 35-55m and distances of 45-55km offshore, Green Jade has impressively installed:
111 pin piles
37 jacket foundations
2 OSS jacket foundations
1 OSS topside
These accomplishments cover a significant part of the 73 turbine locations for the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project.
